Valencia CF goes eight games unbeaten
A positive run of form marked by the ‘Mestalla factor’ and the team’s great effort and hard work
The new Valencianista striker had a meeting with the 200 members of the second term
A sea of children were waiting for Rafa Mir to shake his hand and have their photo taken with the new Valencia CF striker. Arms stretched out in an infinite corridor that comprised the 200 children of the second term of the Valencia CF Campus who wanted to welcome Rafa Mir.
The madness was unleashed with the arrival of Mir, who greeted each and every one of the children who had to restrain themselves to hold the composition in that corridor that symbolised the long road to professional football.
Rafa Mir returned the children's affection and the gestures of encouragement and complicity that they showed him along the way. "I hope you have enjoyed your stay at the Valencia CF Summer Camp," said the striker, who also recalled his time at the VCF Academy and how he experienced his passion for football as a child.
And to conclude, a message for what is to come. "I hope you can enjoy this season and that you can cheer us on at Mestalla," concluded Rafa Mir, who delighted the youngest players at the Valencia CF Campus, as Hugo Duro had done last week.
A RECORD-BREAKING VALENCIA CF CAMPUS
This week marks the end of the second round of the Valencia CF Summer Camp, which in this year 2024 has surpassed its record number of registrations with 800 players, being also the most international with participants coming from 36 different countries who sold out all the available places 3 months in advance.
